No quake fix: Repairs will take more than 2 years

this earthquake that occurred in Padang, 30 September 2009, has happened like 1 month ago. The magnitude 7.9 earthquake has killed almost 1000 people and destroyed a thousand of building. Then one of the person name Ade say that it will take 2 years to repair the houses, building and others. it will take longer for them to repair all of the thing and help those victims. the Earthquake victims in Padang still need some food, shelter and other.

this earthquake kill many people especially in Padang or the provincial capital. Ade further said that the provincial administration planned to help the finance with Rp. 1 million (US $ 100) per house. they also will help the victims and repair the houses that is really in badly damage by having Rp. 15 million or Rp. 10 million. "the money will be taken from the emergency fund in the 2009 state budget," Ade said.

Beside that the earthquake victims will get the clothes, food supplies and etc. but for now many peoples still need tents for the shelter and foods. they also had offered to relocate 1,500 family displaced by or from the disaster to near Lake Maninjau. more then 500 families in the Tanjung Raya district, were still living in the refugee centers since thier homes relocated in lake Maninjau, in an area that easy to have an earthquake. a landslide occured when the heavy rains on Saturday. an empty houses were sink or go inside the lake and mosque's were also burried there. West Sumatra administration shows that around 400 families stay in the refugee.
